Distance Covered:

Not an auspicious start - trying to get out at HW when the wind's almost dead onshore is almost guaranteed to provide a good rinsing - and so it did. But only a couple of times. The waves are only 3 or 4 secs apart at HW!

The wind was slightly less than I expected: Was going to go for my 5.5m, but eventually went with my 6.2m - and glad I did.

In the end, it was a fantastic day's sailing as the wind moved to the SW, giving a little more power to getting out, and a better angle for jumps and rides. Brill.

Retired tired after about 4 hours - with a long walk back.
